Let's talk like Ford guys because I assume we are.
No Ford ever had a "posi", positraction was a GM name for their limited slip. Ford's used Traction Lok differentials, or later limited slip, and some of them had optional Torsen differentials.
Unless you installed a DUI unit, no Ford had HEI. Duraspark, Thick Film, DIS, EDIS, Coil on plug were all used.
Toyota sells extended cab "trucks", Ford offers 2 and 4 door Supercabs.
The computer that runs the powertrain was called a processor back in the EEC I,II,III,IV days, then became a PCM when OBD II mandated common names for some components. It was never an ECM.
That round thing the tire is mounted on is a wheel, the rim is only part of the wheel.

Thanks for the clarification. The one that gets me is when people think that changing wheel size from 14" to 15" is going to change speedometer readings, performance, etc.

Oh and being technical, the terms "small block" and "big block" were GM terms. Ford had "series" like FE, windsor, 335, 385, etc.

Also..."Hi-Boy" was never an official packaged offered on ford trucks. Rumor has it one of the lift companies (skyjacker maybe?) reffered to any F250 pre 77.5 as a "highboy" in their catalog.

Any 4wd F250 before 77.5 is taller then the ones 77.5-79. The front leafs arc was less and ford was able to eliminate the divorced T case.

So if someone tries to sell you anything thats a "hi-boy" that is not a 77.5 or earlier F250, its bullshit.

Also, the 460 was never factory installed in any 4x4 untill 83 and didnt even exist from 80-82.

The 390 was never used in a factory 4x4 either. No matter what uncle burts grandaddy told him.

It woulda been late 70s, a good friend, one of his brothers married one of my cousins, he had a Ford pickup I'm fairly certain. I wouldn't call him a redneck but he did some wild stuff. I was just riding around with him and going by the fairgrounds he drove into the arena. It had a foot of mud because of recent rains, and he proceeded to do a perfect foot deep donut around it, laughing all the way.
He told me that was his positrack

Supercab - Two big normal doors, two small suicide doors that have to be closed before the front doors can close (and latch)
Supercrew - four big normal doors.

You would have either a Ford
Single Cab, or a
Extended Cab, or a
Double Cab.
And, you would not own a pickup. You would own a lorry.
Same vehicle, different names...

Supercabs dont have to have the little doors, and didnt untill 97ish. As evidenced by this 75-79 (first of the supercabs) rear window....read the corner

Ah crap, forgot about that. '97 F-150's just had one door on the passenger side. I think '99 is when the DS got a back door too.

I don't think '250+ got the small back doors until the Super Duty.

It was optional on Rangers.

Ah crap, forgot about that. '97 F-150's just had one door on the passenger side. I think '99 is when the DS got a back door too.

I don't think '250+ got the small back doors until the Super Duty.

It was optional on Rangers.

My 97 has no rear doors and ive never seen anything pre 99 3/4 ton that did. So yeah the superduty started that.

GM had them back to 95ish IIRC, as did dodge.

If you can't use engine and motor interchangeably, then why are they called MOTORcycles and not ENGINEcycles???
