OK, here's another...
"Almond Milk"
What is it and where does it come from?
Has anyone ever seen a heard of almonds? Had anyone been able to determine id there is a female almond?
Have you ever seen a teat on an almond? Have you ever seen an "almond ranch" where they are free to roam?
By definition, an almond cannot produce "milk" unless one can prove that there are, in fact, female, mammalian, almonds.

In reality, you have a solenoid which is converting electrical energy to mechanical energy, which in turn engages the starter, which in turn engages the engine or motor, or whatever.
So, there are really 3 "motors" all working with each other to give you a thrilling ride in your Ranger.

WAIT A MINUTE !!!!! Are you saying it's really "juice" ?
That would imply that their "crushing" almonds to get "almond juice".
Do you realize that it would take millions upon millions of almonds being "crushed", literally sacrificing themselves so a product called "Almond Milk" can be produced ?
That is just inhumane.
Damn, what will they think of next, Peanut Butter ?

I have a 3-door '97 F150. In fact, I just repaired the cable ends so I could open the rear door again.

3/4 ton and heavier ran the old body style thru '97. Not sure if they did much in '98. In '99 the Super Duty came out.

Clip vs magazine, anyone?

Clip is only used to load a magazine. Try telling that to a politician! Lol

Think of a "clip" as the old "stripper" clips used to load the old Springfields and Garands from the top of the receiver. Thus, the receiver became the "magazine". You'd insert the clip into the top of the receiver on the Springfield receiver and push down on the cartridges into the receiver, and throw the clip away.
The Garand was kind of both...you'd insert the clip holding the rounds into the top of the receiver, and the bolt would close, keeping the clip and the rounds.
Upon firing the 10 rounds, the clip would be ejected from the top of the receiver, and you'd start the process again with a fresh "clip"
A magazine holds the rounds, contained that you insert into the bottom of the receiver, and remains with the firearm while in use.
Generally, you would reload a magazine, while the clips were usually left where they landed.
Regular stripper clip usually held only 5 rounds, except the Garand. It"s "clip" held 8 rounds in a a staggered position.
You could always tell someone was firing a Garand by the "TWHANG" it made after the last round was fired and the empty clip was ejected.

I grew up with bolt guns and Garands.
AR's were just coming out and nobody trusted them. Besides, they shot "little itty bitty bullets", not manly stuff like 30.06 and .308.

There were no heavy duty 250/350 models in 1998.

Only the HD 3/4ton and F350 kept the 92-96 style for 97. There was an funky light duty 250 that used the 97 F150 body with 7 lug rims. In 99 it became the "F150 7700".

It makes ordering parts interesting sometimes.

No there were 97/98 F250 LDs with the F150 body and 7 lug wheels. I believe they were only offered with the 5.4L though.

The 99-03 F150s with 7 lugs were labeled "F150 7700", i believe 04-present 7 luggers were just "max payload/max tow"
