Just flushed the cooling system with a flush kit. Now the temp gauge wont move much above cold and drops below cold if i accelerate. after driving if I turn it off then back on temp gauge will read normal but if i give it gas drops down. I tested the Tstat and it works. is this a temp sensor problem? Does anyone know wich direction the coolant flows?

I thought I might have clogged the rad when I flushed it, but that doesnt seem to be the case. I checked the Tstat by boiling it. It opened and closed no problem. The top rad hose is hot and bottom is cool.
