This is why when I built the center console for my one Ranger I did a bit of R & D to come up with a plan. Don’t think that I didn’t think about patenting it either. I did some blocking and bored down each side and fit it with 3” ABS pipe couplings. Now it sounds a bit Redneck, and, we’ll, it really kinda is, but it actually works remarkably well. Cans fit down in and come out easy, every drink cup I’ve used fit, my old travel coffee mug that fit about no cup holder ever but survived at least 3 tumbles off of a truck fit the most secure of anything tried, and my one favorite, a Yeti, think it was a lowball or something, won the thing and it’s short but it sits nice on the collar in the middle of the fitting.I think @LearningStick has one that should be investigated. Even though big gulps had been out for many moons,. My 04 ranger cup holders only fits coffee mugs and 12oz cans.
I need a cup holder mod for a large sweet tea from Whataburger
