Tasteful mods / updates

Black grille guard, dixie air horns, cab roof clearance lights.

One thing they all have, is window vents. I don’t care if they look tacky or whatever, I like being able to crack the windows in the rain without having it come in.
My first Ranger, '85 STX, and second Ranger, '88 XLT, both had window vents (as did my '89 & '95 F-150 XLTs). They're awesome. I wish I could retrofit my sixth Ranger's ('85 Base) doors...

They should be available somewhere for it. I’m not really a smoker, I just like being able to let some fresh air in. And I like to be able to leave the windows cracked when it’s parked in the summer so the cab is only 5,000 degrees instead of 15,000 degrees.

I have a Cobra 29NWWXST that I got in 09, and use a Firestik mount in the bed with a 5 foot Firestik. Great combo.

One of the first things I did was to get a set of VentVisors for my 09. I like being able to drive with a little airflow / fresh air in the vehicle, not through the climate control system.

This is what I have for mine- https://www.autoventshade.com/original-ventvisor/2009/ford/ranger

I miss the old style vent windows that my Bronco had.

I'll have to keep an eye out then. I loved to flip them around (almost 180*) which would blast air into the cab. With the split rear window open you almost didn't need AC.

Want to say any door from 83-92 will fit and work, and Bronco II have the same doors. Don’t quote me but I’m reasonably certain. My 88 has the vent windows but my 89 and 92 don’t and I hate it, lol. My F-150 has them and they get used all the time. Dump truck has them but it hasn’t been down the road since I bought it from dad. Unless it’s pouring down rain or super humid, I’ll open the wing vents and have at it.

I'll keep an eye peeled for Rangers and B2s that are being offered for parts. And, maybe it's time to visit the local junk yards. Although, we're talking trucks that are 30+ years old and pickings might be slim.

You should replace the stock Ranger combination switch with the combination switch from a 97-00 F150. The stock ranger switch is angled downwards so that it hits your leg when using the left turn signal, but the F150 switch is angled upwards so that it won't hit your leg, and it works in the Ranger. I would also replace the dash/cluster lights with led bulbs, replace the cigarette lighter socket with a USB charger socket, and replace the stock radio with a double din aftermarket stereo (huge upgrade in sound quality).

Both my Ranger and Lightning have vent visors. Yup, like having the windows cracked, even in the winter with the heater going. Some say they're tacky. Oh well. They're staying on the trucks regardless. I do like to smoke a cigar once in a while, and only in the Ranger, never the Lightning.

I put Lincoln Town car rims on my Ranger. can't really tell from the pic, but the are painted silver with machine finished ( no paint ) lip.

Ive got ventvisors on the escape & the ranger. Rarely are the ranger windows ever fully rolled up. Awfully pricey for what they are though.

I don’t think I should comment here... dark humor doesn’t always go over so well.
I don't think you have what it takes to truly hurt my feelings. But we appreciate you keeping things civil here.
