One more piece of forensics, just because. The truck in question was not going the same direction as the vehicle that took the picture. If it was, not only is the FD ultra fast to respond, so is the Highway Department on repairing the metal cable that runs outside the breakdown lane.

Well, at the bottom left of the photo you can see part of the car we were in. We were heading up 75 and that is the lane the Ranger was 'Parked'. My buddy gave me his cell phone and we took a few snap shots. My wife brought he photo up in 'Paint' and got a better photo of the truck. Only one photo came out worth a darn. We slowed down to about 50 mph since we saw a few cars along the side of the road. We saw no bodies laying around or sheets (to cover a body) We do know that there was a crew putting up some large sign poles and that cable was acting as a temporary barrier we believe since it was only in a couple of places along the road near the Ranger. I wonder if that driver knew how lucky he was? Like I said …we only saw it afterwards. There was no fire truck there and no ambulance there so we thought it must have happened not long before we got there. I did not see anybody with a fire extinguisher standing there. We saw a guy some distance back behind the Ranger talking on a cell phone and the big rig that had it flashers on a ways up ahead of the accident. If it happened earlier (which makes since as there are signs of a small fire) Maybe like I said before…it was just a coincidence that it was a beater looking Ranger like the one that past us. Like I said before we saw an ambulance that was south bound but it could have been for something else.
