Tail gate latch

Shouldn't this (the part that goes in the tail gate itself) be the same as Ranger? It's not matching. Don't think RockAuto has it or I'm looking wrong. Need for '99 B3000.

Much of the Mazda B series trucks of your year is identical to the Ford Ranger. The difference in the way they shaped the sheet metal might cause the handle and latch system to be different but I doubt it. If nothing else, the interior box and tailgate should be the same. So, the latch mechanism should be the same as well even if the pull handle is different.
