Hey guys, i was thinking about installing some 2" tough country drop brackets and some 4" skyjacker coils. i know that the steering, shocks,... ect will all have to be accounted for, but i just need to know if i will be able to align it with aftermarket alignment bushings. I don't see why it would be any different than the 2" coils with stock drop brackets that i have right now. by the way my truck is a 4.0 so i do have some weight on the front

I didn't realize Tuff Country made two inch drop brackets. I know they have four inch drop brackets.

With the stock axle pivot brackets, for the most part, you can put leveling (two inch lift) coils and still be able to align it with aftermarket alignment bushings. Two inches is the most you can go without putting new axle pivot brackets.

yeah i knew that i can't go any higher than 2" on stock brackets. i guess i need to know if the tuff country brackets are any different than stock or if they have a little drop to them check it out ... www.topguncustomz.com/Store/Gen2ProdDisplay.php?iview=170116436t. I want to be able to fit 32's without any rubbing or trimming.

I think it'll work out fine for you. Skyjacker's coils tend to come up just a little short anyway on heavier trucks, so you should have no issues aligning it.

thanks for the input. it may be awhile before i can get around to doing it, but i'll let everyone know how it works out for me when i do get around to it.
