sunpro super tach 2 issues

Is there anyone that can elaborate where the white wire goes? got the rest figured out but i need to know which wire it splices into for it to dim. also, when i turn my headlamps on, i get a really high pitched noise coming from the tach. the 12 volt pwr is on the radio fuse #29. any suggestions? thank you

I've got 3 of these Sunpro Tachs...
Red= Power
Black = Ground
Green = Coil
White = Lights

White wire hooks to the blue/red wire in the dash.

and thats the one thats fried from my bad dimmer switch is there anyway to fix this bad wire?

Uh, same way you fix any other bad wire. Cut out the damaged section and put new wire in it's place.
