I have spent so much on this freaking bronco and im so done...

I just replaced the clutch not even 5,000 miles on it just put new trans in 1,200 miles ago

Now clutch isn't fully disengaging im so pissed

I cant shift and im so Tired of this peice of shit.

What the hell is wrong

The master cylinder has black liquid (used to be dot 3) and there are silver chunks like metal fragments

Started out as a chirping noise when the clutch lever was pushed in now its all €£÷£√£%@*#*$#&

Was the slave cyl replaced? Sounds like the throwoutbearing or something is chattering? What caused the clutch and transmission to fail in the 1st place? was it just worn out or did you find something like this last time?

and yes, I've been there man. Take some deep breaths and figure out what's going on. Trust me, My poor truck has been screamed at when it's under the knife...Almost everytime to be honest..

Had time to calm down and think about it. I think its the master cyl.

The reason everything was replaced was because 4th gear went out and i needed a rebuild so i did everything. New clutch.. TOB slave cyl pressure plate flywheel ... All came in a kit.

The trans had to be replaced again.. (Bad rebiuld, bad case) so i fitted a new trans about 1,300 miles ago and now The only thing that i can think is a bad MC.

the MC has a black/grey gunk in it all over and is like sludge. Its just gnarl.

This morning i went out to start it after cleaning out the MC with a q tuip and it started up amd didn't try amd jump forward like last night

I could shift just fine using the clutch

But!!!!! When the clutch pedal is fully depressed it makes a god awful noise.. Almost like a gurgling noise. Or a grinding noise its hard yo explain

But it "worked" just fine i don't get it...:icon_confused:

Sounds like its not fully engaging because of the master /slave cylinder. Sounds like it needs one. Check RockAuto or auto parts warehouse since they seem to be the cheapest. Our classifieds might have something too ( even cheaper)

It sounds like it may need to be bled also...if you had gunk in the MC I would take the whole thing off from the quick disconnect (if you have one like most Rangers) and then pop the line off at the MC (needle pin just punches out) and top it up, reinstall, and use the bleeder screw on the slave to get any air out...

I did this once about 8 years ago after having the clutch and slave replaced...been working since then...and come to think of it, I probably should change the fluid...

Well, well, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that has these problems....:bawling:

Yep...Everything is rusty so if I'm working under it, I'm probably going to smell like Kroil and be PISSED!
