I replaced my stock speakers about 5 months ago and they sounded great then and were loud and had a good amount of bass for what they were. I normally have my ipod connected to my deck, when i first got the speakers i usually had the volume at 20 and they were loud enough but the longer ive had them the higher i have to turn the volume up to get the same amount. Its now 30-35, is this a problem with the speakers, deck, or am i just losing my hearing?

Have you changed and settings.

Is your "Loudness" setting off

Do you have a "aux or ipod gain" setting

What type of head-unit do you have.

X2 ^

Also, has anything changed with your driving? Weather better ie windows down? More highway then before? Etc etc

What kind of speakers?
Are there any noises you notice that you didn't before? Were the connectors or wires corroded?

No settings have changed, as far as i know the connections are fine, they were finenwhen i put them in and i dont want to take them out because i barely got them in, and i had to plasma cut my door and drill new holes. And my driving hasnt changed
