Spacer Size For 19" Premium Mustang Wheels

So...straight to the point, I've never ran spacers on any vehicle I own. I acquired a 2002 Ranger a while back and finally picked up some decent wheels for it. They're 2010-2012 Mustang GT Premium wheels. I'm wanting to put some spacers on it , but nothing overkill. Could anyone recommend what size spacer would be best, as well as good brand to look for? As stated, I'm clueless when it comes to spacers, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

lay both a new and old wheel on the ground, face down.
lay a ruler/straight bar across the rim flange and measure down to the hub mounting surface on both wheels.
the difference will be the spacer width needed to put the rear side of each wheel in the same position referenced to the truck.

adjust the width for appearance or fitment issues.
