Hello
going to be doing a SOA in the rear of my exploder within the next two weeks...i would like to buy some new perches instead of using the torched ones or making some, peace of mind that theyre done right :)...there was a website i visited something like tuffstuff....com or ruffstuff....com...cant really remember but they had 8.8 perches for $32...any help would be appreciated!!...Will be for sure posting pictures once i get it done...right now its a 94 Eddie Bauer Purple(MAROON!) explorer with a 3" body lift and 31s...got a 5.5" for the front end and doing SOA in rear with 33s :)
Thanks everyone
Nick

Dodge factory ones, really good quality and the right size tube dia. as well. They're made from 1/4" stamped plate and best part is they only cost $8 a piece!

I got mine from High Country 4x4. They were mopar. Gross.

But they were 16 for the set, didn't have to be drilled for the leaf spring bolt, and just had to be ground a tiny tiny bit.

What did yours look like? Mine were damn nice, solid and worked perfect....

I bought mine from ruffstuff too. But I bought the eight inch ones to help me get rid of some of my pinion snap. They worked great and were very strong.

There's no reason the old perches can't be re-used.

But if you want to buy new ones, TRS Fab sells 8.8 perches.

Agreed, you can usually use the old ones.

I actually prefer to cut them off with my oxy-acetylene rather than grind them off. Much cleaner, and it doesn't take forever and a day.
