I have a '93 2wd with a 4.0 and a 5 speed. Just had trasmission overhauled and had new slave cylinder installed. Invoice from shop showed a slave cylinder for a 3.0. Is the slave cylinder the same for a 3.0 and a 4.0? It doesn't shift right at all and engine now runs like complete crap.

The www.clutchcity.com site lists the same number slave for the 3.0L and the 4.0L applications if that helps you. I would check back with the shop that did the work if I was you. Something may have been knocked loose like a vacuum line or ground wire. You may also still have a little air in the clutch line which will probably work it's way out over a couple weeks.

Yeah, its the same transmission. If its running like crap, obviously take it back.
