I have never had a turbo motor or worked on one. I have seen turbo kits and might like to get one in the future...money permiting. My question is about vacume,I know some things like the brakes need a vacume pump right? What about the other things like the MAP sensor and other sensors that use vacume to run the fuel injection ,how is that done? Thanks.

Vacuum for the brakes is not usually a problem as you don't usually need boost and brakes at the same time so a check valve in the line usually takes care of that. The other option for brake boost is a hydro boost unit as used on some old lincolns and safari vans.
Regarding the sensors, it depends on what you are using as a computer, there are various options. If you check out the megasqirt site it will give you some idea of how the computer interfaces with the various sensors and perhaps give you a better idea of whats required and what you can get away with.
