well, i had the guy who does all the airbrush work for the Hot Rod Shop hook up the hood of SGT Ex. Holy Cow. It turned out WAYYYY better than i ever expected.

Here is the pic he sent me. Going to pick it up tomorrow.

Mythology right there. It only has to be burned if damaged or soiled to a point it can no longer be cleaned or repaired to respectfully represent the USA.

My guess though woukd be if his hood touches the ground, it will meet or exceed those conditions and require burning.

Sorry gents, this flag will never burn. It will just add more to the theme. Through Hell or high water, the American Flag will still be waiving. It may be beaten, torn, dirty, and tethered, but it still waves. Just like our ladies and gents over seas.


Thanks for the complements guys. This will be the last bit of artwork on this ol pig. The hood and tailgate won't see much damage, and I will have slider rails similar to those on the Heavy Metal XJ with a full internal cage. The rest of the body is too beat to put an Exo on it now

Thanks buddy! Sorry it took so long to respond, just didnt notice the post!

Update!

FINALLY got our matte clear in after it being on back-order for 3 weeks, so i finally got the hood back on. As you can see, the corner is a different shade due to the clear, but at least when i wash it, the paint will stay on.

Other than that, SGT Ex has been sitting around waiting on me to finish all the other junk. I did get all the VIAIR stuff off D-Ranged today, so it will be going into Ex very soon.

Also planning a trip to Black Mountain OHV area for Easter weekend to see how Ex handles the big boy boulders.
