Just recently in an attempt to get it to fire up first crank I've replaced within the last week, the coil pack, spark plugs, wires, starting solenoid on the firewall, battery cables, battery. The engine still cranks over several times before it fires! Whats the deal? Also once the engine is warm the truck seems to die every so often? I have not scanned the engine yet. I replaced the IAC, TPS, MAF, 02 Sensor just a couple days ago on Saturday and it still dies.

Low fuel pump pressure? Dirty fuel pump sock? Bad fuel pressure regulator? Corroded electrical connections to fuel pump? Dirty inline fuel filter on frame rail?

May not be any of those but that's what I would start looking at. You may also just have something as simple as a dirty ground someplace.

i agree it sounds like it could be a fuel issue. try this, when the engine is cold and would normally give you a problem starting, turn on the key and let the pump cycle. turn the key back off and repeat a couple times, then try to start it. the idea is that if the lines arent holding pressure over night and causing a slow start (bad check valve) this will pressurize them and it should start properly.

Just went out and did that the truck sat for about 20 hours, and I primed the fuel lines and it cranked over several times before it fired. Also after I fired it up I shut it off and was looking at the truck and then heard the fuel pump cycle on, the truck was off when this happened...
