truck starts but bogs down when pushing gas pedal. Just replaced inertia switch because the connection on the last one got fried due to a wire that got too hot. when i put the new inertia switch in, the red/black wire is still hot and the truck starts but bogs as soon as you touch the gas. any suggestions and ideas to fix this problem. I replaced the fuel pump(not the one in the tank) a couple months ago. let me know what ya think, thanks alot everyone

Have you changed out the fuel filter? Check it for a blockage. My fuel filters get changed once every 18 months regardless of milage.

I change mine every 5 oil changes

a bad fuel pump or filter would not cause the symptoms he is experincing, he has a short to ground somewhere in his wiring, its the only thing that would cause the wire getting hot and the boggin up applicatioon of throttle
