i dont know a whole lot about lifting trucks. i know that anywhere between 1 and 6 inches is just bolt ons. but i was wondering, i already have a 3 inch body lift on the truck. and im looking into getting stock lift blocks for the rear axle, but i want to keep the leveled look. i was thinking on 2inch spacers with new coils. but also i can get a set of 2in lift coils for like a 100bucks so would the 2in lift coils and 2in spacers add up to 4ins of lift or am i just majorly over thinkin this. also im like 90 percent positive that most 4wd kits work for the 2wd but i could be wrong. anyway. im lookin to put a set of 31 10.5/15s on er, i have 3.08 gears and 7.5 rear end. im trying to get an 8.8 with 4.10s but thats slim pickins. is there anything you suggest i do to the gearing?
i know about the alignment issues since i put the 302 in and its already outta wack.
also how much do i need to pay attention to wheel backspacing when doing this. i dont wanna just slap this together and call it good i wanna do it the right way and i could use some help.
