Saw a dude that got shot today....

I was at Chasco Parade and Fair, Its a big event for my town, most of the county shows up for it, its a big drunk fest and you get to watch everyone do stupid stuff. The day goes on good, I drink some beer, watch the parade, get some beads, normal Chasco stuff.



Anyways Later in the night Im walking down Main st where all the bars are at with some ppl and all of sudden we see somthing going on right down the road, so we all run over there. We get there and theres a dude laying on the ground not breathing with a whole crowd of staring at him. Me and my freinds are all thinking ohh shit, what happend????

My friend Josh was there and hes an EMT for the Clearwater FD so Runs over and starts giving the guy CPR. After a few mins the Local cops show up not knowing what the hell to do just start yelling at everyone and telling everyone to leave, setting up a police line you know how that goes. But the local EMTS show up so my friend get off the guy and they take him to the hospital. Then while all this is going on anybody thats in the area including my and my friends wern't allowed to leave so we where stuck there for a 1/2 hr.


Anyways it turns out the 2 guys were arguing so the one dude got shot with a .45 4 times! 3 in the chest and 1 in the head. and turns out he died on the seen too.

I went to this house one time for a party. As soon as i was walked in i seen a friend of mine get stabbed. Pretty scary crap. It will definatly sober you up quick.

Yea it was a bad deal, the worst part was when they wouldnt let anyone in the area leave and I had no clue if they got the guy or not and wondering if I might get shot...

I disagree with you, IMO I'd prefer to have a fair chance if some MF has a gun in my face, and I'm a big guy so i get ''picked'' on more often by drunk bastards.

My first and last trip to NYC was in 1980 for a martial arts tourney at Madison Square Gardens...while I was there three people were shot in three separate shootings not too far from where we were competing...it was pretty scary...because we left Toronto at midnight and then left NYC after the tournament ended (we passed on a dinner invite because of the shootings) we were back in less than 30 hours...

Haven't been back to NYC and don't intend to go there...I'm sure that three shootings wasn't an exception to the rule...but it's a big city and crime happens...

Anyway, glad to hear you weren't detained too long or otherwise affected physically...it's the psychological effects of seeing things like shootings that makes you try to be more careful about where you go and when you go there...nothing like being in the wrong place at the wrong time...EH!

I agree with you, but around here with all gangs around here they too dumb to think they just have this instinct to shot who or whatever is giving them trouble, or they get all there friend to help, I've been jumped by a bunch of kids that were trying to get in to a gang, and i could not do anything to fight back cause they had older kids behind them, one of those times where you just get up close to a wall and protect your head. Not fun and i want to move out of this city as soon as i can to avoid it.
