reply box acting up

When I type in a fairly long reply, the reply box keeps shifting back to the beginning of the post. Its annoying as all get out. I'm constantly scrolling down so I can see what I'm writing. Does this happen to anybody else?

And then there is this little translucent grey box with the letter "b" inside it, on the right side and it stays in the same position regardless of what the page is doing. Kind of like one of those popup ads.

I should add, this is on mobile FireFox, on an android device; LGg5 phone.

Sometimes I accidentally bump the screen somewhere and it messes me up. But that's my fault. My biggest problem is that sometimes the tools at the top of the box are greyed out and I can't do fancy stuff like bold or italics or links.

That's what I think I did but I can't figure out how to make it behave.

FF respects my privacy, most of the rest don't.
