replacement radio based on trim selection?

Hi,

I was looking online for a replacement radio for my 1998 Ranger (extended cab, 4x4, 4.0L engine) and keep running into a trim selection option to narrow down a radio that will fit. This stumped me since I have no idea how to determine what trim my Ranger has. I suspect it may not really make a difference but is there a way to determine it based on the vin or some other decal on the body?

Thanks - the vin chart should get me the info I'm looking for. I've added a pic of the typical trim options from the ebay site.

The radio bezels are the same across the board, all the factory radio options (am/fm, cassette, and cd) are all interchangeable. The trim package should make no difference. I have no idea why it's asking you for irrelevant information.

That's what I thought too, Dirtman. Probably some coder with too much time time
