That second picture looks correct.

All the photos you posted look like Ranger parts to me. Except that adjuster...

Where is the self adjuster lever... cable... guide for the side that self destructed?

I'm not sure the second pic was when I put it together and you can see how much it pushes it out and you can see the one where it's destroyed

I don't see how it's pushed out.

Like I said it looks correct. Did you have the other springs on it? Did you try to put the drum on?

I've seriously never seen any adjuster like the one you're trying to find on a Ranger.

Yeah I took the picture too close but look on the sides I had it adjusted all the way down and the drum wouldn't fit and all the springs where on

there have been times new brake parts did not quite fit. on one occasion I needed to deepen the slots on the adjuster.

I was gunna but didn't wanna reck the part or make it weaker

does you Ranger have an Explorer rear axle?
because that short adjuster is an Explorer part.

I think that's the park brake hardware kit for the drum park brake.

It does look like that adjuster that was posted.

It certainly isn't correct...

Yeah so I'm lost cuz the 04 shoes and hardware fit how they should but that adjuster is just too big

I just checked my 2005 factory manual.
the short style with thru bolt is correct.

the long adjuster is for older 10"

it appears aftermarket can be either style.

it appears the adjuster bolt/screw changed a bit,I don't remember the removeable screw.
this is what Rockauto lists for a 2005, of course left & right are opposite threads
your short one looks more like a 1999 Explorer, listed in previous post.

1999 Explorer, drum brake hardware kit on Rockauto. that's the short one you have.
individual parts no longer available, need the kit now.
