You guys seemed like you liked the front axle quiz, so I threw together a quiz for the rear axle so I could throw in some pictures and see if I could broaden the quiz style a little. Now that I'm getting the hang of things this could be something fun to play around with.

I would like to eventually put together a quiz that had a photo of something with every question.

I may have you guys start emailing me pics to see if others can identify them. You just have to be sure of what you're submitting. Don't post any, or you'll give away the answers.

Hope you enjoy. :icon_twisted:

Note to self: still need to figure out the bug in that damn results page...:dunno:

Sweet! I only missed two.

I like those quizzes now.

Edit: Dang... I did all that in less than three minutes...

Ouch 64%

I'm not much of a rear-end guy anyway..

I wish it only took that long to make them.

Actually, I'm getting the hang of it now. The only time consuming part is trying to come up with the questions.

If I had a list of questions (and photos if applicable) and answers I could create the quizzes pretty quickly.

That's comforting!

Sheesh, I bombed that, like 56%... I thought the 31 spline 8.8s in FX4s didn't come about till 02+?? And one I accidentally clicked the wrong answer.

Ouch! I got 56% too...didn't know tube diams...

Aren't the tube diameters off? My ranger 8.8 was not 3 1/4" tubes, my explorer 8.8 was tho....

I got one wrong. #3 when did the 8.8 go into production? Could of sworn it was 89:dunno: OH WELL.

Hey Jim shoot me an E-mail I got hundreds of various pics of front/rear axles, t-cases, transmissions Whatever you need and they're all labeled and correct.

i got a 74%...got 3 wrong...it would have been 2 but i changed my 7.5 spline count...damn it

8.8 tube diameter question.

28 spline 8.8s were 3.0 inches.
31 spline 8.8s were 3.25 inches.

The question failed to specify which axle. I got it wrong by assuming that we were talking about ranger axles.

That's what I was thinking too.

That's one I got wrong too.

I figured it was the Ranger axle too because when I did my flip kit, the kit doesn't work with the larger diameter tubes. Mine is the same size as the 7.5"

I went back and added 'Explorer' in the question to clarify.
