Finally got it in. Boy, is it a stubborn piece of wood. Fought, and fought. But it's in now.

A center console is in the planning stages. It's gonna go all the way up the dash. It will provide a place to run wiring and house the 4x4 control module, as I'm not putting carpet back in. Instead I'm slathering some bedliner on the floor boards and under the seats and running floor mats. Easy to clean and inexpensive.

There is a Army surplus store right near my house, I am sure they have some there...I might need to go check it out for parts for my build.

Yup, army surplus stores.

Problem is, they are running out and the army isn't too quick to set some off to the side as surplus. Many store owners haven't been able to get some in quite some time, and ALL remembering how 5+ years ago they were buying them buy semi, and half-semi truck loads.

I know where there are some, but they are $15 a pop.

Hey I found another thread you started about doing a 2.5'' to 3'' lift and swapping in some new EB coils and changing the buckets and shock mounts for better TTB flex. I have been looking into doing the exact same thing for the past 2 months and was wondering if your going through with it or have any parts for it yet.

Naw, not yet. I came across a deal for a DUFF lift and couldn't pass it up. So I'm just gonna run it for now. I may go EB coils later, but as for now.....

I'm going to concentrate on making my truck 4x4 for now. Going to install the front diff and stuff, and wheel it like it is. I'm itching to play in some dirt, and take some poser shots.

For the lift I'm waiting on some bilstien shocks that are on back order. The soonest they'll be here is late July, early August. Sucks......
