do it we need to do a big ranger corral and make a weekend of it
 
4x4:
- gear lube
- rtv
- chunk
- shafts
- driveshaft
- shift motor
- jeep hubs
- hardware:
** > pinch bolt
** > diff bolts
** > spline washers
** > c clips
** > yoke bolts for driveshaft**

Gonna be happening this weekend or next.

It's a good $20 insurance. I would hate to lose a whole vehicle over a small fire.


Spent 2.5hrs putting the front chunk, locker, shafts, and hubs on. Just a few pics.

Had to take everything up to the knuckle off, and had to take the shock off so the axle would droop low enough:

Clean, or clean enough surface....rtv, and go!:

These help....guide bolts, and I used the red rtv.....

I bought longer bolts for the bottom since I'm slapping the skid on hopefully tomorrow. Washers will take up the slack for now.

its getting there

Yeah, just waiting on back ordered shocks for my lift, and some extra money to lay down for an alignment afterward. Then my Duff/Bastard lift will be going on in all it's extended RA glory.
 
i know the feelin, im ready to get the damn ranger rolling...

time to start reading up on either swapping xj coils or EB coils into mine

It will provide needed protection for the aluminum centersection.
 
that sucks i read all of thsi build last night, but oh well its a good chance later on you can do an SAS
