hmm just went thru my pics and I thought i had some pics of my linkage somewhere since i had to modify mine but i didnt take any pics. i'm using piecies from a 50 and a 54.

i got an idea now.
Ill continue the cleaning tomorrow, and start thinking about how to fix the linkage.

Also seems like the axle thing will be settled tomorrow.
The guy was out of town, so we havent been able to talk about it.
Ive decided to wait until i have the axle to start tearing the truck down.

once the trans is clean and the axle is on my side, ill start.

I dont have the rear driveshaft yet.
And in order to get it i need more funds, so i need to sell some of the IFS parts for money haha.

Ill call the axle guy today, lets see if i can bring that thing home today/tomorrow, or at least this week.

the first guy selling me an axle, still hasnt checked his shit to see what ratio.
the n2d one asked more moeny because he has a 4.10 with air locker, been calling him, he never has time, and now he never answers, just called him, his phone is off.

called a third guy, hes asking twice, like 600 usd for a damn dana 30.

if i dont find one this week ill sell that damn trans and quit dreaming about having 4wd on this shit.
im fking tired that every damn thing always ends up being 3 times harder for me to do it.

i can assure u, if i keep waiting something will come around that will take my money off, and then when im broke everything comes with great deals.

swap in the 4wd trans/tcase and then at least you have low range, and its all there for when an axle does come around.

That's the way it is for me. Well, it took me over a year to get everything around for my swap. But I did already have the axle.... Just give it time and don't rush it.

If everybody on TRS gave up on something because it didnt happen as soon as they had liked, then we wouldnt have a TRS.

With me I want to do a 302 swap now but cant due to weather, funds, and still sourcing out one. So Im doing homework on what vehicles to find one out of that will be the best bang for my buck.
