"Ranger don't" list.

:icon_rofl: ive never killed one. i based that off of what i think would happen.
oh and thanks for quoting me.:yahoo:

dont, EVER let anyone make you belive a ranger is worthless. my friends have been trying to get me to give up on it, but i wont give up on my (currently sleeping) 83 farm truck

np you think just like i do....my 89 is haunting me. maybe thats the reason for my lack of sleep :icon_idea:

Don't forget what speeds you should take certain RR track crossings at , crossing one that you should do 20 over at 70 while racing to get to work equals a few seconds of being airborne , and you being late because of a snapped leaf spring

Mine's a B2 but same thing right? :P

1. Don't teach girlfriends (EX) how to drive stick.

3. Don't let friends peer pressure you into hot boxing the submarine.
You'll roll it into the basement of an unfinished house and let all the smoke out. :sexe:

#1 - never
#3 - :icon_confused: Not quite sure what you are talking about here, but it reminds me of the times we used to "clam bake"..."cigars" in the B2 at night until we couldn't see each other, then turn on the roof mounted KCs & open both doors. That always looked cool!! :icon_cheers:................Disclaimer: that was years ago in my younger days! I do not encourage or advocate this sort of activity.:c-n:

Sorry for the thread jack.....please continue! :icon_thumby:

dont let a rbv become metal for imports if you can help it

DON'T!

Today i hit a local yard looking for tires for my buddies car. anyways im talking to the guy and i watch a 94 ranger get towed in on a flatbed. It looks good. minor rust in the usual places slightly faded paint. tires and rims look brand new.

I ask the guy as it is rolled off the flatbed. Why is this one here? the guy told me it has been "retired" and no i can't get the wheels.. they are allready spoken for!.

So for shits and giggles i wander over the the truck and look into the cab. the keys in it and i just open the door and start it up. its running almost perfectly sounds like a small hole in the exhaust somewhere .. thats it i drop it in drive works reverse. works. 4x4 works. everything works. its even CLEAN for crying out loud.

and all the parts i want off it. are allready spoken for. the bed and the rims/tires.

/sigh more ways then one.

Don't put the bed of your ranger on a Tacoma, it just looks funny.

You can however put a step side bed on an S-10 and make a StRanger, at least those bodies are the same width.

Pics?:D

Don't put stacks on it. It's retarded and doing so makes you retarded.

:agree: Unless you a building it in mockery of the Rig Pig trucks. In which case, carry on!:headbang:

Neither were my truck. The yota is one I've seen at school, might be able to get pics next semester if he didn't graduate.

The second was along my route home from college but it was sold months ago. If I ever see that truck again I will be sure to snap a shot, but it was def a early 90s S-10 with a +2000 step-side ranger bed on it. The cab was flat black, and the bed was bright Ford blue. Even had the badges on it.

Don't let anyone tell you that 4x4 doesn't make a difference on a sheet of ice. If your tires are worth what you paid, its the difference between an uncontrolled slide and making your turn.

Had that happen to me today. My driveway is icy and slopes downhill away from the street. I came home today, and missed hitting my dad's new (to him) red '94 Chevy. by inches after I turned ever so slightly on the ice.

Another Don't: Don't cheap out on a set of tires. Get the best you can afford. You may hate yourself for the gouge they btake out your bank account, but sooner or later, they'll be worth every penny!
