Worked on the super duty last night, will post about that in that build thread. So, felt obligated to work on the ranger. Well didnt work on it but sourced some parts.
Went to the junkyard, and cruised for a while. Scored this grille, no cracks at all, will look nice.
I like this style grille better than the one that is on it, plus its not broken
Picked up some spindle locknuts for both sides, so I can swap out for my manual hubs that I had left over from rangebe v1.0.
and last but not least....first part of homebrew lift...a set of front coil springs from a 4.0 explorer. As my truck is a 2.3, these will have a heavier rating, and should make me sit a couple inches taller than my sagged out 2.3 springs. Im not worried about spring rate, itll soften up when i throw a winch on there and other junk.
I will use these, and washer coil spacers if I need a little more lift. Got to get her ready for the swampers!
peace
