Rangebe...version 2.0

Thanks. Been busy with the Super Duty, dropped the transmission today to install a Valair clutch in it before I put hot injectors in it.

Im a bit concerned with the contact area, so I think Im going to fab an idler pulley between the PS pump and crank pulley to increase contact.

That thing is looking bad to the bone there Doc.

What did you use I drop the tranny in the SD? I know they are heavy. I need to replace my clutch in the not too distant future. How long did it take you?

I used a normal 3 ton floor jack, with a tranny adapter plate. They are a heavy bastard, but honestly one of the easier clutch jobs Ive done, lots of room under there to access everything. Took probably around 2.5 hours for tear down, will re-assemble tonight.

Havent updated this in a while, was away on a few trips and started work this past week.

This picture may not seem like much, but it was a fair amount of work. There was a 3rd brake light in the middle of the back of the cab, but it was covered by the cage main hoop. I needed to pass a tube through there to connect to the cage, so I made a filler piece, welded it in, and did the body work.

Fixed some dents in the driver door

And did the final body work on the shaved antenna hole

Did some more rust repair around the windshield, this is before I primed it.

Cut another hole through the middle of the cab

Looks great!

How does it feel to be out of school and working lol? There are a lot of days I wish I was still in school and then I remember that I am making real money now :icon_rofl:

Small update, got my McNeil 6" bulge fibreglass bedsides. Just threw them up on the truck to see how they'd look. Rear is sitting high right now because the spare/fuel cell/batteries aren't in.

The tail lights on the Raptor conversion look way to big on a Ranger IMO

Needed to address the stock rear cab mounts.

Ground the rivets out and pulled them.

Made new mounts out of 3/16 plate and tube, gusseted.

Welded a piece of plate to the underside of the cab where the old mount would have gone, then welded in the new mount.
