Rangebe...version 2.0

going to keep it looking like a ranger :D

Guess Ill go with 6" glass all around, I think 8" would be perfect, but harder to find.

I would try to find 8in glass or a 1pc. You dont want the glass to be too skinny

I dunno, he's running skinny tires.... I'd rather have a lil tire hanging out then fender over tire but thats just me. 8" glass is available, just gotta pay more usually....

^ yeah I agree, Id rather have tires sticking out past the glass than vice versa. The tires should widen up quite a bit once mounted. 6" glass all around is what Ill get.

As always Nathan, good work. Hope to see more in the future.

If you stuff the front end hard off of a jump or whatever you want the tires to go into the fenders, not connect with the fiberglass and crack it. But its your truck and your choice

It's TTB, the tires tuck in when you stuff it anyways.... and thats what bump stops are for!

Yes to a certain extent, but if it is quite a bit farther out then the fenders then it will crack them, but I could be wrong and 6in would work fine

For BAJA yes you want to cover your tire completely but hes like 3000 miles from Baja lol. The type of stuff he will be doin you would want your tire to stick out as to not destroy the fiberglass on a tree or rock

Dont worry, Im not going to let my tires crack a 400$ set of fenders, but at the same time I will not let fenders limit my travel. I still need to get my wheels, and see how much they tuck. Depending on exactly how wide I am, and the amount of inflection, I will make the final decision on glass. If the 6" isnt going to be enough, than Ill go with the McNeil 2 piece 10" fenders.

On a side note, got the drivers side lower ball joint repositioned...just welding and grinding now. I have next week off, so I hope to get lots done.

got my RuffStuff order...1.25" heims and what not for my radius arms. I will be building a set of radius arms, with2 tubes, one on top (terminating in the heim) and one below it that will also extend the entire length. What size material should I be looking at? will 1.75 .120 wall DOM be strong enough? I need a 1.5" ID for my weld in bungs....

2", 1/4" wall for the bottom tube. 1-3/4", 0.120 wall for the top tube. You are 1-ton now, no such thing as over kill :headbang:

F*ck it, Ill just pony up and get a stick of 2" 0.25 wall.

Good choice... thats what both my last sets are made of.
