Rangebe...version 2.0

so why have we not seen a mocked up tire in position yet? I'm anxious to see this thing on its own weight and in action. should be killer!

haha you and me both. Slowly accumulating parts and working with what I have as my budget allows. I am also in school full time taking 16 classes this semester (yes I said six-teen), seeing patients all day, and studying at night. Plus I still dont have rims yet...trying to find cheap 17x9 8x6.5 steelies is tough up here. I actually have almost all the parts for the rear suspension, might take a break from the front and start on it, not sure. Plus I got quoted 22$ per foot of 2" .25 wall DOM :(

My retail is $17.50 over the phone... I get a better deal when I show up and pay cash, how much do ya need?

What are you studying towards? And what do you do for your "patients"?

I thought 4 or 5 classes was bad enough (what I take) plus a 25 hr a week job :dunno:

I have one more year of Dental school finishing my DMD(doctor of medical dentistry)...this is year 7 of 8...

Was working alone so tore that sumb!tch off the frame by myself and set it outside :)

Going to grab some chevy 64" leaves tomorrow, and some others to create a pack to have re-arched. Also going to be fabbing my own front hangers/rear shackle hangers and modifying/beefing up a set of belltech shackles. Im trying to find a decent place to find DOM for the front radius arms, and figured since I have most things I need for the rear I might as well get started.

Oh, and the bed will not be going back on....plans include a shit ton of tube and glass bedsides.

Stay tuned.

no, will not be inboarding the leaves, want them wide and stable.

fibreglass.....aka 'glass

picked up some chevy 64" leaves from the boneyard today, will clean them up and mix/match with my ranger pack before sending them to be re-arched later next week. And to clarify, I am doing a shackle reversal. Thinking Ill pick up a bender come tax return time...

Wow you're really overcompensating after losing your old ranger. This thing is gonna be a monster.

And uhh hi Jon!

Haha yep. Swing by sometime, with SJJ, and we'll have a Cohiba or something.

64" leaf on top, ranger pack minus eyes on bottom. Thinking Ill run 3 of the chev leaves, and the 2 ranger leaves. Remember this is getting a Sterling 10.25 (i.e. HEAVY). I plan on dropping the shackle hanger a couple inches to account for the reversal, how much should I have them re-arched?
