Got the engine tore down, the internals of the engine are in IMPRESSIVELY good condition. All the bearings are intact, no scratches and smooth.
The cylinder walls still have the factory honing, Im super happy with the block.
So last night I tore the motor and tranny out, and tore down the motor today. I also went back to the junkyard today and they gave me another motor. So....I used the second motor as a mock up engine, while I build the other one on the side
After the teardown of the other motor, I put this one with the tranny back into the truck. Ill pick up materials tomorrow maybe, and get started on the tranny cross member.
