87 Bronco 2 Neutral Sensing Switch FM145

So I'm trying to find a replacement for my neutral sensing switch for my fm145 transmission. Cant seem to find an exact match or a part number and I've been searching for days! Would this backup switch do the job?

Does it function the same way? I believe on my M5OD the neutral and the reverse switches work opposite (in is open vs closed). That looks just like my neutral, which I’ll someday need to place due to broken plastic.

I think I've heard of that being done before. Pretty sure O'reillys' has the same switch listed for both applications with a connector.
