R brake hose to frame bracket?

04 Ranger Edge, rear brake hose to frame bracket.

Does anyone know of a source for these? mine is rusted almost in two and I can't seem to locate a replacement. I checked the usual suspects but no luck. I could make one except for the hex hole on the end that holds the hose, I'd rather not use a round hole that might allow the hose to rotate as the suspension moves.

I already have all new line, fittings and hose, I'd like to get it all replaced before I put the bed back on, I just lack this one part..

I checked Bronco Graveyard and no luck

Could you make the hanger with a larger round hole and then weld or bolt the hex part to it, so just prevents the twisting but bracket is new

I had to make one for mine. I drilled it out a little smaller than it needed to be and used a file to finish it.

I'll use the file trick to make the hex, I was hoping to find one reasonably cheap with some kind of anti-rust coating, odd that nobody makes this..

I thought I might try this, so I went down to my barn where I have an old e85 Ford Escort (until a few years ago, my work car) and took off the rear brake hose bracket. It only hade some surface rust and came off with no trouble (why can't my Ranger be like that!?!?) turns out that it has the same hole for the hose, correct size, with the rounded corner, and is the right length, once I straighten out the 45 deg bend and trim the points off the end, it should bolt right up!!

Although I do have a welder, I found a no-welding required solution for this issue in the past.

Find one of those cheap crappy wrenches they give you with ikea furniture and the like, which is thin flat stock steel, with a hex hole already milled into it. I believe you can even buy these types of "wrenches" at Lowe's, Dome Depot, etc.

Find one with the right size hex hole, which should be easy- the hole used on these ranger brackets seems to be a very common size on these thro-away wrenches. Then drill a hole in the stock at the opposite end so that you can bolt it to the frame rail using original bolt hole; now you're done.

Did that on one of my old rangers. In case that helps anyone in the future.
