i need to know how to keep my passenger airbag ON while taking everything out for the full center console mod. is it just hook up both wire ends? thanks

I am interested in this as well I do my full explorer console. Do Explorers have the airbag cut off? I assume no since they have a usable back seat

I unplugged it to move it out of the way, and re plugged it in, thinking i could just relocate the assembly behind the dash, but now it seems it doesnt work at all.. my airbag light stays on all the time now and i tried using the switch but it doesnt work now... im very puzzled.

anyways truck is in the shop for a while =( new torque converter and transfercase

maybe the switch has to be bolted down to be grounded?

To keep the Passenger Airbag activated (without the PAD installed):

Install a 1000 ohm resistor between the WH/LB and BK/OG wires.

Connect a lamp (the one in the PAD) between the YE/LG and BK/LG wires so that your dash Airbag light will remain out following a successful self test, which occurs at Key On (verifying that the dash and PAD lamps are present and good).
