It's more expensive so I thought it would be better. Opinions? I also used it for my power steering fluid as it also calls for ATF fluid.
Worth the extra money?:icon_pepsi:

id stick with motor craft, ford engineers have specific blends of atf for there vehicles. motorcraft is probably cheaper too.

Quaker State or Penzoil in my opinion is sh*t.

a mechanic told me that this stuff is the reason my steering pump is so loud and that I should change it to regular power steering fluid, Not sure want he meant by this unless he just meaning to say Quaker State ATF isn't good in general.
Personally I'm disapointed, I pay almost double the $$$ for something that might even be worse.

Nothing wrong with Quaker State. Nothing particularly spectacular about it either, and not worth paying double for. I doubt that it's causing a whiny pump. I would also not use power steering fluid in there and use ATF. You can change it out if you'd like, but I don't think it will change anything.

If it meets the appropriate testing specifications, it's completely adequate. Quaker State is as good as any other conventional ATF.

i have a whole case of wolf's head atf if someone close to oil city,pa could use it i'd give it to them.
i have a 5 speed and have no use for it..:icon_cheers:

Your 2004 5 speed CALLS for ATF...

i won't use wolf's head for nothing but starting fires ..and being a new case i thought i'd offer it before i used it to start the wood stove..

i have all my service done right at a dealer..

OK - sounded like you thought it was the wrong type of fluid, when it's exactly what should be in there.

no problems i'm disabled and can't do alot of my own repairs..
sorry for thr distraction on this post carry on ..

I've used Quacker State oil for a long time...amazing what duck oil will do for an engine...
