Pulsating lights Interior/Exterior


Before you buy another alternator check your voltage regulator fuse! I had the same exact problem as described. Swapped like 3 alternators, still same results. So I went through my fuses (box under hood) and found that one wasn't seated right. It was the voltage regulator fuse. If its not the fuse check for bad wires on that same circuit. The regulators can be perfectly fine but if there is something wrong in that circuit it will still show bad.
 
Well did alot of fuse plucking this evening and testing the resistances on alot of different circuits and other electronics..... daytime running light module... its creating alot of draw on the alternator when its on. I'm gonna head to the junk yard tomorrow and see if I can find a decent replacement. Thanks for everyones help. I'll let you all know if this ultimately rids me of these gremlins.
