Project SVT

Looks like we have similar drivetrains in mind...Only since I was able to design a doubler that's only 16 inches long, I thinking about using that in my EB. I doubt I will ever use it, since it will be mostly a streetable DD type of truck and will see hardly any trails not that I plan anyways) but I will have it if I ever feel the need to pull a house down the road...
SVT

yea, mine will be a looker and a driver. She might go riding some trails, but the Ranger will do most of the offroading

ok here we go. i asked my buddy about it, he said 66 broncos were single tank. from 67+ were dual tanks

Looks like we have some conflicting info. I asked my buddy who owns 3 of them and he said it is a factory option, not a standard option. Maybe the option wasn't available till 67?

Well, how's this one...Mine has the dual tank option (even has the dual tank switch in the dash) but I only have the midship tank in mine, I don't have the rear tank...:icon_idea:

All I know is that it isn't rare to see a duel tank EB, like I typed, i know where a bunch of them are, and the person that owns them won't sell them, or sell any parts off them, it's like he just likes to watch them rust away, but anyhow, over 90% are duel tanks.

well, any how, lets get back to the build and type about something else, how about MORE PICTURES.....

Rob, I believe ya, I just always thought it was a rare option...Anyways when I can get away from being on duty (which is hard when I'm on call 24-7 and right now I'm down to 2 people in my station, including me) I need to go to town (30 min away) to get an arbor for the 4" hole saw I got....I got the plate marked out for the reduction box, which is what I will be working on next. I officially hate my chop saw (after taking about 5 minutes just to make one cut through a 1/4 thick 2" square tubing :annoyed: So I'm going to buy a horizontal band saw for more precise cuts (not to mention shorter and cheaper [electricity not used for excessive time]). I plan to make a table for when the band saw is vertical I can use it as a vertical band saw as well (within limitations of course, but for now, it will work for this and current projects). I also get to start using my new Digital SLR camera I bought since the ex is whining about wanting her little camera back, so stay tuned for more pics!! :icon_thumby:

Must be Chris letting them rot.
And since I found it I know where there are tanks! :icon_thumby:

With Muskets at Dawn..:icon_rofl:

OR one could have a guitar, and the other a banjo.....:icon_twisted:

another way is with swords at high noon, or right after afternoon tea.

I love the cooler on the turret..............cold beer even goes good with blowing crap up!

Well played boys, well played.

That fellow I was typing about, has one that has a inline 6 and 3 on the tree, that would be the one I want, but the dang blasted, good for nuthin, yellow stripe, beady eyed, pole cat one let them go, I want a EB grill so bad, and can't afford to buy a new one.

but, it looks to me a inline 6 would be better when gas is going up.

also not to thread jack, but how come a 1974 Pinto with a 2.0 carb engine, with points, can get over 40 mpg, but a new 2.3 with FI and computerized stuff can't get over 25mpg's???????
