One of the cleanest doubler builds I've seen. Good god that truck sits high!

Do you have a total price on the doubler build?

Sent from my iPhone while clubbing baby seals. There's an app for that!

Thanks Allen, hope all is well on your end too. Soon we'll have to get together for another wheeling trip...
The price on the doubler is not much sine I did all the fabwork myself. The price of a junkyard 1356, that adapter plate was about $12 (12"x12"), the pipe was $7, I had the aluminum flatbar for the endplate of the reduction box, and I'll have about $50 for having the shaft cut and splined. So all in all, $69 plus the price of the Tcase. I could have fabbed this out of aluminum, but the weight of the rear case, a Dana 20, would not hold together long. I'm thinking I might sell this one when I'm done and fab me another one. Also thinking of making a 56/54 doubler for my Trac...

Looks good! Is there anything you would do differently if you built a second one?

Actually, I don't think so. I will be fabbing another 56 reduction box (and I already have a 56 case) but I'd like to use a 205 rear case (and yes, I have this as well) or even a 300. Might look at using a Toyota box since they can be twin sticker and have a lighter case.
I have thought about making my own reduction box using 1/2" thick 8" aluminum pipe. I'm pretty sure I can knock the reduction box length down quite a bit if not cutting the length in half(its now right at 8" in length) so fabbing that would definitely have things really short making it great for short wheelbase rigs, but the cost would be raised due to the price of the pipe...

I also got a little more work done on the supercharged jeep of my father in laws. I got the supercharger plate machined, and have the sides made. Need to have the front and rear plates machined (when time allows) then will have the pieces tigged together...

I'd like to see ya try making the reduction box case yourself, that would be sick!

You guys using an eaton m122? Ports look about the same size/location... Should be pretty sweet! You plan putting a radius or anything on those ports?

Actually its for an m90, he bought the 90 from me, I've decided to use the 122 on my Trac. I hope to start that in a couple weeks...

Updates!!! Well, no, not really. But this is why no progress has been done on SVT. I've been doing a v8 swap on a 93 jeep wrangler YJ, a member of a local jeep club. I used a 97 explorer 5.0 motor and trans, along with the ecu and harness. After I get the motor in, the wiring done, and ready to start the motor came to life, and realized it was in a jeep. It developed a fuel leak, a pinhole on the rear fuel rail crossover line. A place I have never seen or heard of a leak forming. I stripped the coating back and it looked like I took a 1/32 drill bit to the line. No pinch marks, no scrapes, nothing. Anyways, here's some pics of the motor as it sits now. When it was out I painted the motor and trans after a brief cleaning..

Ex fead minus the ac compressor. He didn't run ac, so I didn't bother trying to fit it. I just short belted it..

Here's the dash with the old gauges removed. Went with all autometer gauges...

Barely visible in the lower left corner, but I also wired in a factory od switch from a 91 f series truck as well as an OBD2 port. Should have it done tomorrow or Saturday...

I thought hell froze over when I seen this thread updated, then I seen a jaheep and knew it was just a false alarm :flipoff2:

Well, I'm just about finished the jeep 5.0 swap. Power steering pump is a little noisy so I need to swap it out. Also need to modify the wiring for the speedo. Here's a couple pics of the finished engine bay..
