Oh, and on another note. DONT buy spectra gas tank straps. They're too short, and don't work. As you can see I had to use longer bolts with a spacer in order to mount them. It's solid.

I know it's not a tank issue, because my skid plate mounts fine and has more then enough room.

i hope your not talking kia spectra. the straps are on recall for rusting out and dropping the tank.

LED's came in today. Put them in, now I just have to swap batteries in the dark and see how they light up!

There was about four racoons out next to my truck when I went to put the battery in last night, little buggers wouldn't let me get close to it.

We've been shucking black walnuts lately, I think they're after them.

I would go out and kick there asses away from the truck. I use to hunt them and they wont hurt you (unless your trying to get hurt). After you get so close they will take off.

Ate some of the black walnuts today, I can see why they want them! Mmmm.

Anyway, I should have a picture up tonight of the red LED's. I didn't scrape the green film off, so hopefully it's not brown.

Had a member ask me if it's okay with me if he nominates me for TOTM. I said no.

I'd much rather get nominated after I SAS and finish up my truck. I'm not worthy! haha.

Finally finished removing the old bushings. The best method (if you don't care about your drill bits) is to torch it, drill it, torch it, drill it, and then hammer it out. Nine times out of ten the sucker slides right out.

Makes sense, since your removing most of the rubber by drilling it. The torch simply hardens the rubber so you can get a bite.

Found some 6400 shackles. Should ship soon.. then I just need to buy the new bushings, U bolts, and some bolts to put in the leafs and I'm golden. Probably going to replace the bed bolts.. gotta figure out where they go on the frame (lol) and put on new clips too.

Now I just need to get someone to measure up their STOCK 1993-1997 2wd ranger with 235" tires so I can see how much it lifted my truck when I get this all put in. I'm hoping between 5 and 6".

Also, when I was stripping down the frame my bump stops kind of fell off. Anyone recommend a replacement? Or are rear bumps just a "whatever" item.
