Since it was such a beautiful day Saturday I went to the junkyard. It was nice, walking around in shorts and a t-shirt at the end of November. Not something I get to do every year. I'm not sure what's going on with this whacked out New York weather I'm having. I love it though.
I was checking out a SWEET 1979 Bronco that was there, taking some parts off for my dads Highboy (gotta go back again) but then I noticed a newer green ranger a few lanes down. Go over to check it out and ended up freaking out because it was an Edge. Needless to say I now have a sweet Edge hood. Starting my conversion asap. I would wait, but this way I can part the 1993 parts and make some dough to finish my conversion.
Didn't get fenders, somebody had already snagged the flares anyway. I'm going to run some 3" or 4.5" fiberglass fenders. I have to browse photos of the sizes before I commit. Grill was busted out, so I'm still shopping those. The bumper was all rusty as well.
As for the bumper, I am going to put my 1993 bumper up for sale. It's an OEM bumper in black with a fog light valance and intact plate bracket. Comes with some cheapo lights that don't fill the holes. It's priced at $200 FIRM because I can use it with the newer body style so it's not just something taking up space.
OEM 1993 4x4 flares are also up for grabs, sucks that I just sticky taped and mounted them. I guess I'll peel them back off.
I'll update my for-sale thread too I guess. Probably tonight or tomorrow since I need to strip it down and take pics.
