Gotta finish the garage first or it will ever get done! I know myself all to well....

It's all slowly coming together, a few more finishing touches and a final organizing and cleaning.

Teaser.

are you going to use the same sliding mounts on the back ????

How is the quality of the sliders? Would you buy again? I think I'll run them on the front of mine to keep it low

I'll go get some close ups of the sliders and the brackets.

They are beefy for sure, all 1/4 plate with good welds all around. The sliders are very simple so if I decided to play with some different materials it would be very easy to do so.

The springs look like the length is perfect, the let me bring the front eye back under the bumper where the don't stick out and still let me move the axle forward. I'm going to have to do a little massaging on the body above the body mount for clearance of the slider but it doesn't look to be any major problem.

i always thought leaf springs were supposed to be as level as possible? or am i just wrong

The slot will be angled down towards the front, the top of the bracket will be level. They are just sitting therein the pics not the actual location.

Uploading some pics now.

Those are really cool. I wander what kind of travel it could give on the rear?

It's supposed to be as good or better, a lot,ore stable and should have lot more down travel since it is not limited to the length of the shackle.

I'm hoping with these and the front mount drenched into the frame I will be able to squeeze 63's under it and stay low.

You suck at auto correct :thefinger:

The shackles look sick as hell. I can't wait to see you start getting it together. I still think you should just go 9" with adapters either on the front or on the back. 31 spline axles, 2.5" higher center than a 14 B, and i personally think they are better than 60 center sections. Not to mention cheap as fawk.

Just dropping ideas in your noggin
