project family wheeler. chop top 1 ton explorer.

Still learning to type on the iPad :thefinger:

If I could afford 35 spline axles and a high 9 hod head I'd run a 60. But for now it's gotta be the 1 Ton axle.

Oh yea...14 bolt? Wtf I'm not running that chebby junk :D

They will be the only thing chebbie, might even go the newer dodge leafs like what is on Greg's truck. I believe they re bout the same length.

so why not just go with the F150 (97-04 style) rear leafs? Aren't they the same size?

No I believe they are shorter, and also 3 inch wide but I could be wrong.

i thought the chebby and ranger springs were 3" wide. whoopsie

Mine will move the axle back about 2".

94-01 Ram 1500 4x4
60" 27 7/8 front 32 1/8 back 2 1/2 wide

I was thinking of the new body style rams, I believe they are 62-63 inch

02-06 Ram 1500

63" 31 1/4 x 32

Will move the axle back almost 6"

Ranger leaf springs are.

56" 25 5/8 x 31

It doesn't have to move it, I can put my spring mounts anywhere. I need to do some measuring and see what my wheel base is looking like.

I'm hoping to be about 115-117

cough, cough.......
