Good work on the sliders. I was gonna say you're gonna dent the hell outta the 1/8" stock but then I read you're gonna plate the bottom - good idea. Excellent craftsmanship, keep it up.

how do you feel about being illegally high(the frame height,lol).i'm in the middle of getting this truck down to earth and finished off for a friend who's allergic to fab work.he got a ticket for it being too high up when he first bought it.the chp said his nitestick has to touch the bottom of the frame rail(about 24"s)

so long as you have mud flaps you're usually fine,my main concern is a tall truck with stockish track width likes to flopI'm not worried about it. The cops up here are pretty lienant when it comes to vehicle mods. Besides, if they ever started busting people for (overly) lifted rigs, they would be busy for years before they ever got to me.
