I know, I can't hardly wait myself, for one being that every night I trip over steel parts in the dark at some point. Not this week and not the next but the following is when I have planned to get all this on....reminds me I gotta pick up some pipestands from work...And locktite, and spray paint...
I don't recall ever seein a truck here on TRS with SJ brackets and Duff Coil buckets...I hope there isn't any clearance issues. I foresee a possible one on the passenger side coil bucket where the SJ bracket will mount up against the bottom of the frame rail.
I swear the hardest part is getting the beam pivot bolts back into the drop brackets. I quit for the night after I smashed my finger with a 2lb sledge and used every cuss word in the book, including ones that didn't exist before I smashed my finger.
Tomorrow I gotta go to Napa Auto parts for a brake line fitting and some brake fluid. Also gonna clean up and paint misc. parts I'm selling.
Left to do:
Install last pivot bolt on passenger beam, install coils, measure for Bilsteins, install old Rancho shocks temporarily, bleed brakes and wash everything off. BTW, rivets suck, I can't imagine drilling them out.

Dang it they always sneak into my pictures. Mine are the tall black ones in the back, trust me
Today I didn't get much done, other than find out Skyjacker sent me two different brakelines that don't match. And the fact they are only marginally longer than my stock ones In my angst tho I remembered the Tech Library's article on extended rubber lines and ran myself to Autozone. Picked up one of each and now I can use both of Skyjacker's lines with two short extensions, giving me plenty of brakeline length.
Tomorrow I'll try and wrap it all up and schedule and evening alignment. Hopefully.
Here's a question...I measured for shocks and looks like an 11" travel shock will work perfectly but I would like to know IF:
A Bilstein shock valved 170/60 would RIDE BETTER than the typical 255/70 valving. I know the lighter valving is better suited for dual shocks....which someday I might do with EB coils. Any thoughts on this????
95% Finished. Still gotta bleed the brakes, rough the toe settings and modify the coil retaining tabs. And an alignment tomorrow morning. Truck sits just about dead on flippin' level now. Love it. If it settles I'll add some washers. Oh and keep my eyes open for a set of 33" mud terrains
The jacks stand are awesome, tall, adjustable by hand and super stable. Way better than any kind of jack stand you can buy at a parts store. They are actually pipe stands but they serve a better purpose under my care
Bled the brakes fixed coil retainers....Test drive was uneventful [thats a good thing]. Alignment tomorrow morning. Basically done other than ordering Bilsteins at the end of the week.
Alignment went good. Used the stock 1.25 degree bushing on one side, and a new 2.5 degree bushing on the other. Still has a little positive camber on both sides, but thats what I wanted for when the springs settle a little in the coming months. All in all it drives just as good as before.
From my understanding skyjacker uses the same bracket for 4-8" lift. The that's why there is 2 holes in each bracket. The 6" actually aligns better in the 4" hole and the 8" actually aligns better in the 6" hole. But I could be wrong.

I believe you to be correct, especially with the heavier, super cab V6 variants. And it works even better in my case because of my heavy nose.
I'm not joking when I say the truck sits dead level now, and I will most likely have to add 1-3 washers in the future if the settle a bunch. Fender to center of hub front and rear is 11".
No EB coils for a while, though everything is in place for when I do, and all I'll have to really worry about is the steering setup.
To do list before school starts at the end of August (in order):
Oil Change lol
Limit straps
11" travel Bilsteins (5125's or 5150's)
Bump stops F/R
Rear extended brakeline
