Here's an idea on how a Super_Runner Steering kit could look on my pickup.
Maybe third time is a charm?
TRE setup a la Stonecrusher style --> 1 ton Stock style --> 1 ton Super-Runner
Here are the angles, with a non-modified and modified centerlink (I won't drop the centerlink pivots down more than 2", any more than that is askin' for problems).
Going to leave the Superlift steering kit mostly unmodified....only going to ream the centerlink for the 1 ton taper. Later down the road I will cut the TRE off the centerlink when its worn out, and either tap it for a RBV TRE or for a chevy TRE.
If the bumpsteer makes the driving experience worse than it is now, I'll modify the centerlink down 2", thus flattening out the tierods.
Not going to use the Superlift Tie rods (I can't really with my reamed knuckles anyway). Instead going to have some new ones made to accept chevy TRE's.
This is the plan...all I need is:
Superlift Super-Runner Kit $466
Standard Drop pitman arm $75 or less
Tie-Rods made $60 plus tubing so around $100
1 RH Chevy TRE $30
I coulda had an SAS by now with all the money I've spent on steering...
