aww, it aint that bad. i've studded walls worse than that!
and lets not forget, the tires could be aired to different psi, the ground may not be level. there could be a lot of small factors that when added together, could amount to that difference. including what everyone else mentioned above
Its done, for now. Still waiting on the M22x1.5 tap and material/time to drop the center link.
But for now it drives great (having the tie-rods so close in length gives the perception of very little bumpsteer, even though I know it is still going on). Much better than stock, stone-crusher, and stock 1-ton setups I have run in the last three months.
Back from the alignment shop. It drives extremely nice now, much improved over the previous setups even though I haven't dropped the centerlink yet. In fact I may not drop it for a while just depends.
Still have very little room behind the right side tie rod and skyjacker bracket, so I might run one of these if I get too much interference:
Got the tap today, maybe over the weekend if the weather is good I tap that centerlink. Maybe I'll leave it since the current TRE has some life yet still.
Just ordered a set of 2008 square, power mirrors with glossy black caps. $100 shipped! Should be here Friday or early next week since they are coming out of Ontario CA.
KM2 eye candy, note the diesel sized oil filter (thanks to the magazine article by plumcrazy).
