i am in the process of the V8 conversion of my 94 ranger. i was wondering if there was any pressure differences between the 5.0L and the 4.0L power steering pumps?

Steering pumps spin at the same RPM regardless of being on a 4 cylinder or a V8. The only difference being that the V8 will notice the fact that the steering pump is there a whole lot less than the 4 cyl. Hook it up and go.....

You might want to look at upgrading to a canned ham saginaw pump if you're turning bigger tires.

Panamaexpat thanks for the info. And brinker88 it's stay completely stock. No lift no nothing other then paint. I had another question I was thinking about put f-150 springs under the front to help with the extra weight. Question is will they fit?

They will fit, but they will lift the nose a bit. F-150 coils and Explorer leaves is the poor-man's suspension lift for Rangers.

Well I have a brand new set of f-150 springs that came from the donor truck. And the ranger springs are shot and I figure adding the V8 to the front would level the ranger not lift it. Considering the has about a 3 inch sag in the front compared to the back.
