I used some aluminum to make an air dam/ shroud to finish my core support.

My ABS wheel speed sensor has been screwed up since my wheel bearing went out a while back, so I fixed it the only way I saw fit.
I completely removed my ABS, I opened the wire harness up and traced down all the ABS wires and de-pinned the plugs.

With the ABS pump gone I now have room for this...

I also added a little flap to keep debris from hitting the bottom of the condenser

And I decided add a fire extinguisher to my arsenal of backseat tools

do uhave problems keeping tha thing aligned mine wont stay aligned i have new everything up front

I made it a point to search for a truck without front ABS, and disabled the RABS, really has no place on an off-road truck. It can make for some really scary situations.

Good work on the front core support. May be a viable option later on for me.

PM sent.

I finally decided to attack last bit of cancer on the truck.

The paint was bubbled when I bought the truck, and I knew just by the size of it that the was no saving the metal behind it.

I am not a body man by any means, so I have been avoiding this for a long time. I went ahead and poked my finger through it that way there was no going back.lol

I cut out the bad spot.

I cut a good chunk out at the JY and traced out the peice I needed.

Welded in.
PlumCrazy's Build

The welds had good penatration. I cut the lower support off so mud and salt wont just sit there and rust out again. The bedside is still solid without it.

I didnt get any pictures of primer or Bondo.

I did my best with a rattle can. The color is almost perfect, but I couldnt quite get it smooth out. I wet sanded it and clear coated it from the body line down.

With the ABS pump gone had room for dual batteries. This what I came up with. I already had an extra Optima red top (side post) so I made it work. Since the batt I already had in the truck was dual terminal I just used the side posts to connect the second batt.

The stock battery tray is a b*tch to get out.lol It is bolted in and then spot welded all over.

After I got it out I made a new tray that would hold two batts side by side. the stock cables still reach perfect with the batt turned 90*. I would really like to get another dual post since they are a squeek shorter and narrower, I think it would look a lot cleaner if they matched, but I couldnt beat the price (free).

I also noticed that my exhuast is starting to melt my fender flare a little. So added a turn down to get the heat away from the body.

Problem.

Solved.
